Congrats Guns N Roses for Reaching 1 Billion Views

This week Guns N Roses hit yet another plateau in a series of success since their reunion. The bands mega hit, ‘Sweet Child ‘O Mine’ has become the first 80’s video to reach one billion views on YouTube. Which I honestly find hard to believe.

I mean, Michael Jackson? INXS? George Micheal? Madonna? Not that they’re any of my favorite artists by any means. But I have a hard time believing that they haven’t had a billion views at some point. Not only that, but I was checking out the music video for ‘Sweet Child’ when November Rain popped up. And according to YouTube it had 1.2 billion views. Hmmm. Either way it’s a huge landmark for GnR. I mean, their comeback has been one for the ages. I never would have thought they would have come back so strong.

GnR continue their seemingly never ending ‘Not In This Lifetime’ tour. Which has now become one of the highest grossing tours of all time. The band is just wrapping up their southern mid west leg. BTW, Wichita KS! You luck bastards got to hear ‘Locmotive’ live. Not only is GnR’s best deep cut track. It hasn’t been played since 1992. So it’s good to see the band switching it up a bit. Because their Palladium show was the exact same set list as I saw at Dodger Stadium over three years ago. GnR will continue the NITLT tour through 2020. Then hopefully it’s back to the studio for a full album.

Once you get passed all the ‘Wooos!’ it’s not to bad.
