Guns ‘N Roses Supposedly to Release New Material for Terminator: Dark Fate

Huge news has dropped! According to a Loudwire report, Guns N Roses will be releasing a new track for the upcoming ‘Terminator: Dark Fate’ film. The rumors have been circling of new GnR material for the past few months now. As the group has been teasing the idea on social media. And Terminator: Dark Fate is the perfect platform to bring in some very needed fresh songs. Particularly since they contributed ‘You Could Be Mine’ from ‘Use Your Illusion II’ to the Terminator 2 soundtrack. If all is true, this will be the first time Axl, Slash and Duff have released new, original material since 1991.

According to an Australian fan page on facebook, ‘A source who was working on Terminator Dark Fate has been informed that four members of GNR attended a rough screening of the film to see if they wanted to contribute a song. Apparently Slash was at Axl’s house to record overdubs for the upcoming track. At this point the song name is not known. But yes, 100% verified, GNR new music.’ Now, I don’t know about the validity of a simple fan page. But I do know that having new GNR music for ‘Terminator: Dark Fate’ makes perfect sense. And of course, any new GNR music is going to be welcome.

I just wish they would do a little more to get new songs finished for a new album. Dare I say, ‘Use Your Illusion III?’ But, they just keep adding leg after leg of the ‘Not In This Lifetime’ tour. Which is going on three plus years now, and they’ve added more dates. Not just in South America where they haven’t hit yet, but in the states as well. Are they literally trying to hit every stadium and arena in existence? I get it, most of the money in the tour, particularly nowadays. But just get back into the studio already and do a new album!! Can’t wait for the new track.

From Terminator 2. If the new song is this good, we’re in for a treat.
