Bill & Ted: Face The Music Reveals Trailer and New Poster

The energy around the new Bill and Ted film has been buzzing. And now that the energy is being fueled even more. With a new trailer and poster for the film that’s set to be released on August 21st. The question, of course, is will the theaters be ready to be opened by then? And if they are, will they be able to draw a worthy sized crowd for the movie; despite social distancing? Time will tell. But for now, the picture is right on track.

People are pissed off. And they should be. The continuous murder of black men from law enforcement in this country is blatant. And the bias that runs rampant in many law enforcement organizations is now more clear than ever. With officers attacking peaceful protestors in unabashed fashion. Which is only fueling the rage even more. Black children are getting tased because they simply needed to get some food passed curfew. Which the protests didn’t allow them to do during non curfew hours. And other young people that we have failed are being beaten for peacefully sticking up for their friends and brethren. It’s disgusting and enraging. The reaction to the final straw of George Floyd’s murder has lit a fire under America’s ass. Decades of government neglect in America to it’s people, particularly black and latino, have now boiled over. The chickens are coming home to roost. And here are the best tracks for fueling the fire.

Mastodon Contributing Track For Bill & Ted III

One of the most important elements of a Bill and Ted flick is the killer soundtrack. The first two outings both supply excellent tunes from some of the greatest hard rock acts including: Extreme, Winger, Slaughter, KISS, Faith No More, King’s X, Shark Island and Tora Tora. And now the tradition continues with the new Bill and Ted contribution from mega-rockers Mastodon.

R.I.P Bob Kulick – 1/16/50 – 5/29/20

He was one of the most prominent and recognized session guitarists during his storied career. Working with KISS, Meat Loaf and W.A.S.P.. Bob Kulick passes away at the age of 70 as confirmed by his brother Bruce.

Most Underrated Albums: Yes’ ‘Talk’

It’s regarded by many fans to be their most overlooked album. A sheer masterpiece that was initially panned by critics. Guitarist at the time, Trevor Rabin, has the distinction of playing on Yes’ most commercially successful albums. He also has the distinction of playing on their second lowest charting album. If anything because of timing. Because his final album contribution to Yes, 1994’s ‘Talk,’ is a truly overlooked piece of hard rock prog excellence. It’s just that 1994 wasn’t receptive to the sound that they produced. But it doesn’t make it any less amazing. With the exception of the terrible ‘Yes’ logo that was used on the cover.

Little Richard Moves On To Next Dimension At 87

The Beatles, the Stones, Hendrix, Led Zeppelin, The Who, Alice Cooper, Aerosmith, KISS, Queen, Deep Purple, Whitesnake, RHCP, Van Halen, Ratt, Motley Crue (and basically any other glam rock act), Living Colour, King’s X, Soundgarden, Alice In Chains. The list goes on and on and on and on for all the artists that Little Richard has influenced. He’s the founder, the innovator, the architect. If Elvis was the king, than Little Richard was the creator. His contributions exceed far beyond what he created.

Metallica To Possibly Work On New Album During Quarantine

While everyone is in lockdown, we’re all thinking of things to do. Many bands and musicians have stepped up considerably with online shows or posting of unreleased concert material from the past. And Metallica have been particularly active during the quarantine. They’ve been sharing old concert footage every Monday, entitled ‘Metallica Mondays.’ They’ve done a really cool, laid back rendition of their classic barnburner ‘Blackened.’ And they’re also working on a charity called ‘All Within My Hands.’
